  A Research on Achievement Goal Orientation and
  Learning Strategies among Senior High School
  Students in the Reform of New Curriculum

  Abstract
  This study examines the influence of the reform of new curriculum on learning strategies and achievement goal orientation among senior high school students. The results show that: the reform of new curriculum has significant influence on achievement goal orientation except mastery-approach goal; the reform of new curriculum enhances the effectiveness of the learning strategies in preview, revision and strategy in detail. There are significant gender difference in achievement goal orientation and learning strategies in that female students are better than male students in those two aspects. There is significant correlation between achievement goal orientation and learning strategies.
