          问:你的同事靠你处理什么样的问题?答:大家通常靠我来劝解客户的不满
      情绪。众所周知我在客户面前从不发脾气。
      
          这个问题给应试者一次很好的机会来显示他的独立性、个性力量和职业道德。
      如果你能证明你在工作中与他人合作愉快而且在同事中享有声望,那么面试官会加
      深对你的印象。
      
          Q:What situations do your colleagues rely on you to handle? 
      
          A:People often rely on me to handle client confrontations. Im known 
      as a person who never loses my temper in front of customers. 
      
          问:谈谈你在小组中或委员会中满足别人的需求。
      
          答:我在委员会中审查公司的请病假政策。有一位职员滥用这项政策外出度假。
      作为小组正直的成员,我在5 年任期内基本上没有请过病假。最后我提出了一个设
      想,那就是允许一周的病假,但要自觉地把这一周病假算进家庭假期中,公司正在
      考虑这个建议。
      
          告诉面试官你在团队事务中的主动行为。你通常在团队里扮演什么角色? 
      
          Q:Tell me about a need you fulfilled within a group or a committee. 
      
          A:I worked on the committee to review our company's policy on sick leave. 
      One of our employees was abusing the system in order to gain vacation time. 
      I served as the objective member of the group, having used virtually no 
      sick leave in five years of employment. I ended up presenting an idea that 
      the company s now considering, which is to allow up to one week of sick 
      time to be voluntarily allocated to extra family leave time. 
      
          问:谈谈你如何支持和协助集体获取共同的目标。
      
          答:为了实现股东利益的目标,我通过举办促销活动来清减货仓的存货,而且
      为顾客、供应商、摊贩和股东举行预展。参加者可用三折的价格购买新的、但看得
      出有点小毛病的电子部件。从这笔买卖上我们赚了两万美元。
      
          面试官要应聘者证明其曾经完成共同目标的一个项目。哪些团体、部门或顾客
      从你的努力中受益?举出具体的例子说明,不要太笼统。重点说明你通过扩展你自
      己的小组或部门以外活动而产生利益。
      
          Q:Tell me how you ve supported and helped attain a corporate goal. 
      
          A:I helped meet our goal of value to stockholders by holding a fire 
      sale of goods to clean out our warehouse. The public was invited, with a 
      preview for customers, suppliers, vendors, and stockholders. Attendees bought 
      new but visually imperfect electronics components at 70 percent reductions. 
      We cleared twenty thousand dollars from sales of equipment we'd written 
      off. 
      
          问:谈谈靠你的努力取得的可量化的成果。
      
          答:我曾经调整存货计划,而且使重新订货功能自动化。这个过程在过去需要
      40小时,现在只需要3 小时。描述一项具体的成果,该项成果能带来可观的利益。
      用实例证明你的付出比所期望的更多。你取得的成果是否比期望的更大?又是如何
      取得的呢?
      
          Q:Tell me about a quantifiable outcome of one of your efforts. 
      
          A:I reorganized inventory planning and was able to automate the inventory
      reorder function, which used to be a fortyhour process and now takes 
      only three hours.  
      
          问:谈谈你提前完成的一个项目。
      
      
      
          答:我负责一项新产品的生产。总的来说,每个阶段都没有遇到太大的阻力,
      部分原因是运气较好。在每个生产阶段,我都细致地要求所有组员提前两天对生产
      状况作检查,我相信这样做会起作用。新产品投放市场比原计划提前了两周,这对
      于我们这个行业来说很重要。一般情况下,这个行业的产品存放在货架上的时间要
      少于一年。
      
          这里应重点说明你如何设定目标和日程表,如何衡量结果,如何实施计划。这
      个问题的目的是显示你完成任务所付出的努力,如果你的项目需要团队努力的话,
      就显示你的领导才能。
      
          Q:Tell me about a project you completed ahead of schedule. 
      
          A:I was in charge of a new product rollout, In general we completed 
      each phase without a major setback—which was partially luck—but I also 
      systematically called two days ahead of every deadline to check the status 
      with all groups involved. 
      
          I believe that made the difference. The launch took place two weeks 
      ahead of plan —a significant period of time in our industry, where shelf 
      life for products is generally less than one year.
