One day little Nick got two white rabbits. One was big,the other was little.

Nick put them into a little house.Do you know what a rabbit house is called? It is called a hutch.
One day somebody left the door open.
The rabbits got out. They began to run about the garden.

They saw a big basket with fresh turnips and carrots. The rabbits ran up to it.

But the basket was too high for the little one.He could not reach the top of the basket.

So the big rabbit sat on his hind feet.He reached the top of the basket.
He pulled down a big turnip.

It fell on the ground, and the little rabbit ran to it and began to eat it.
In this way the big one helped the little one.

This is what all boys and girls must do.They must help the little ones first.
Is it not a good lesson to learn from Nick抯 white rabbits?
