趣味英语之与食物相关的习语

　　1.有了熏肉=维持生计?
　　bring home the bacon=make a living谋生获得成功；维持家庭生计。
　　
　　2.面包+黄油=?
　　bread and butter=food 食物。
　　
　　3.大块的奶酪原来就是……
　　big cheese=boss 老板。
　　
　　4.坏的鸡蛋=坏蛋？
　　bad egg=bad guy 坏蛋，恶棍。
　　
　　5.饼干的妙用：
　　（1）cookie是男子称呼女友或爱人的亲密说法，相当于日常我们说的“宝贝”的意思。
　　（2）a smart cookie=intelligent person, a smart man聪明人
　　（3）a tough cookie=a tough guy
　　例如：His lawyer is a tough cookie.(他的律师是个干练的家伙。)
　　
　　6.面条=脑袋？
　　use one’s noodles=use one’s mind=think，相当于“思考”的意思。是不是很可爱的用法呢？用面条思考，哈哈，真不知道能思考出什么呢！
　　
　　7.热土豆很棘手吗？
　　hot potatoes=problematic issues 烫手山芋，棘手问题。
　　
　　8.撒豆子=说漏嘴吗？
　　spill the beans=share the confidential information 吐露秘密，说漏嘴。
　　
　　9.给人涂黄油，竟然是件谄媚的事……
　　butter sb up=flatter sb奉承某人。
　　
　　10.茶=令你心动的人吗？
　　one’s cup of tea=the type of person or stuff one likes某人所喜欢的人或物。例如：He is not my cup of tea.（他不是我喜欢的类型。）
　　
　　11.吃坚果也会疯狂吗？
　　be nuts=be crazy about sth.（疯狂）。例如：Are you nuts?（你是不是脑子进水、有毛病啊？）
　　
　　 12.给苹果抛光=？
　　polish the apple=flatter拍马屁。
　　
　　13.一块蛋糕是可以轻松“搞定”的：）
　　a piece of cake=very easy十分容易。比如：It is just a piece of cake。（这件事情小菜一碟。）
